In Lesson 6, we started managing life force. This aspect of Jing training, as explained in Lesson 5, consists of three parallel processes: better distribution, cleaning and preservation of the Jing.
In Lesson 6, you learned three techniques that play a role in dividing the Jing. In this (and the next) lesson, you'll get a whole range of exercises that help clean the Jing. The exercises in this lesson are part of what we call Chi Kung. Chi Kung is one of three pillars of traditional Chinese medicine: herbal, acupuncture and Chi Kung (or Qigong).
In the essential below, Reinoud explains more about these specific Chi Kung exercises, where they come from and what the effect is on the physical and energetic bodies.
